  • University of Bath 6th May 2015, 
  • Copperbox Arena London 8th May 2015
  • Echo Arena Liverpool 11th May 2015

England Netball is looking to appoint volunteers to each of the three England vs. Trinidad & Tobago Test Matches being held in May 2015. If you are passionate, friendly and enjoying getting stuck in then read on for more information. 
Not all roles identified below will get to see all of the game. Volunteer Applications must be received by 5pm, Friday 17th April 2015 and successful volunteers will be informed by Wednesday 22nd April 2015. Admin Assistant
This role will be required for around 10 hours leading up to the event at England Netball’s Head Office in Hitchin. Please see the separate advert for this role. Over 18’s only. 

Team Liaison
This role is required to provide support to Trinidad & Tobago during their stay within the country. Please see the separate advert for this role. Over 18’s only

Ball Patrol (all venues)
Must be confident and friendly with good ball skills (throwing and catching). Priority will be given to those registered on the Pass On Your Passion scheme and volunteers must be between 14-16 years of age.  17:00 arrival @ Bath and Echo Arena, 16:00 @ Copperbox.

Ball Patrol Co-ordinator (all venues)
This role is required to supervise the Ball Patrol. Volunteers must have experience of supervising under 18’s. Over 18’s only. 17:00 arrival @ Bath and Echo Arena, 16:00 @ Copperbox

Merchandise Assistant (all venues)
Supporting with the set up and selling of the I Heart Netball Store merchandise. Over 18’s only. 17:00 arrival @ Bath and Echo Arena, 16:00 @ Copperbox

Event Assistant (all venues)
To assist in the preparation of the facilities, equipment and court area prior to the arrival of the teams and spectators. Over 18’s only. 09:00-16:00 (all venues)

Mascots (all venues)
This role requires you to wear one of the England Netball Mascots, to interact and engage with spectators and players, pose for photographs and adopt the personality of the mascot.
Volunteers should be aware that the costumes require them to wear lycra, a heavy head and may get hot inside. Those with claustrophobia would not be suited to this role and must be over 18 years of age. 17:00 arrival @ Bath and Echo Arena, 16:00 @ Copperbox.

Mascot Assistant (all venues)
The role will support the England Netball Mascots to perform their duties, interact and engage with spectators, support the Mascots to pose for photographs and ensure the comfort and safety of the mascot at all times. Must be over 18 years of age. 17:00 arrival @ Bath and Echo Arena, 16:00 @ Copperbox.

Guard of Honour (all venues)
To assist with carrying the flags at the beginning of the match. Must be confident and friendly. Priority will be given to those registered on the Pass on Your Passion Scheme and must be between 14-16 years of age. 17:00 arrival @ Bath and Echo Arena, 16:00 @ Copperbox.

Ticket Collection Assistant (Bath and Copperbox)
This role will support front of house at the event, issuing pre ordered tickets, selling tickets to walk up sales, meet and greet spectators and ticket collection. Must be over 16 years of age. 17:00 arrival @ Bath, 16:00 @ Copperbox.

Programme Sellers (all venues)
This role is required to sell programmes to spectators on arrival at the venue and during intervals. Must be confident, friendly and have some sales experience. Over 18’s only. Arrival @ 17:00 Bath and Echo Arena, 16:00 @ Copperbox.
