Who is this course for?

If you already have an Engage account please ensure that your marketing preferences on your Engage account are set to receive information from EN, as an email is automatically sent with confirmation / joining details once you have booked and paid (these are from first sport International (FSI) and often go into people’s junk). If creating a new account, the same applies, please ensure you enable communication from England Netball.
Please check you have received confirmations after you have submitted your booking, copies of emails sent should also be in your Engage account - communication history. Ensure this is checked in advance of the start of your course.

- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have full membership of England Netball
- Be able to communicate effectively in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing)
- Have the specified UK Coaching Safeguarding and Protecting Children training certificate before the end of the course content delivery. You will need to upload a copy of your certificate onto your e-portfolio
- Have one of the recognised First Aid at Work certificates in the link below by the end of the course content delivery. You will need to upload a copy of your certificate onto your e-portfolio

Walking Netball Host Training workshop
The aim of this six-hour workshop is to provide people with the skills they need to be able to host a Walking Netball session. The workshop includes a mix of both theory and practical sessions.

The workshop is aimed at new or aspiring Walking Netball Hosts. Attendees do not need any previous qualifications to complete this training. They must have a desire to work with this audience.

England Netball | Walking Netball Host Workshop

Into Officiating Award
These courses are exclusive to England Netball members, aged 13 and above. The INTO Officiating Award is the mandatory starting point for all new umpires into the Officiating Pathway. Conducted virtually over two sessions, the course will help you understand the basic rules of the game, as well as cover some of the basics of positioning and movement, building your whistle confidence.

The course consists of two 1.5-hour virtual sessions (3 hours in total) and a 30-minute online Written Assessment which is included in the course price.
