UKCC Level 2


The aim of the UKCC Level 2 course is to enable coaches to prepare for, deliver and review coaching sessions. To be eligible to complete this course candidates must be at least 18 years of age, have attended (prior to completion of the course) a recognised Safeguarding and Protecting Children training course and have attended (prior to completion of the course) a recognised Emergency 1st Aid course. It is also highly recommended that applicants have been an active coach in Netball for a minimum of 2 years, or attended a Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Netball. Upon completion of the course coaches will be able to: 

  • plan a series of coaching sessions
  • prepare the coaching environment for the delivery of coaching sessions
  • deliver a series of coaching sessions to develop participant’s performance
  • monitor and evaluate coaching sessions and personal practice

The course duration is two weekends (which are approximately one month apart), with an assessment day another month after the second weekend.
