UKCC Level 2 Conversion Course
The UKCC Level 2 Conversion Course gives recognition for existing England Netball Level 2 Coaching Award. England Netball is committed to the development of coaches and wants to support coaches in the transition to a nationally recognised UKCC qualification. England Netball want to establish a platform on which they can provide tailored, needs led continued professional development to coaches and have concluded that holding a UKCC qualification will be the baseline. This course is aimed at existing, active coaches who hold the England Netball old Level 2 Award and allows those coaches to gain a UKCC qualification in the most time and cost effective manner. On this conversion course most of the new theory and skills are learnt through home study as opposed to course attendance. Your experience as a coach has been acknowledged so that you draw on this during the home study and completion of portfolio tasks. The course comprises of:
- Pre-course reading from the UKCC Level 2 coach resource & watching the England Netball DVD
- Attending a one day refresher course
- Attending one portfolio support evening
- Completing the portfolio tasks in the UKCC Level 2 coach resource
- Attending an assessment day
