Regional Schools
After a week of weather watching and lots of enquiries regards whether the tournament was going ahead, I woke to blue skies and a chilly frost – my trusty sunglasses came out as I drove to Whitby High School, Ellesmere Port, hosted by Cheshire County Netball Association.
31 teams travelled from all over the North West including 2 teams from the IOM. Our officials and volunteers did a great job considering the cold and the weather held out until around 2pm.
2.28pm the semi’s started across the 6 courts – with the top 4 teams in each age group playing for a place in the national finals to be held at Whitby HS on the 15th March. Congratulations to all teams who took part and we hope to seem you all again next year. The final results were:
