The Basics of Strength and Conditioning
This workshop will cover the basics of simple strength movements you can teach in your club. In a high injury sport, prehab is becoming more important and so this workshop aims to breakdown movements and share coaching points to instil in your club training. The session will cover specific exercises, how they can help your players and the best ways to implement them. It will be run by a fully qualified strength coach who specialises in weightlifting.
Attack by Karen Greig
This workshop will focus on movement within the circle and around the circle. Setting up back line passes and positioning players to effectively execute them, Set players & gain advantage over their defender.
Positioning by Karen Greig
This workshop will address player positioning down court. It will look at court balance and moving quickly down court.
Junior Session Ideas by Tom Nokes
This workshop is focused on fun activities for Juniors. Are you always doing the same skills each year? This session looks at keeping the fun in activities and also addressing skill development.
Defence
This workshop aims to highlight a variety of ways to prepare your circle defence players to utilise effective ways of defending. There will be examples of how to progress players and work with a range of different players. Set plays for defensive backlines.
baCK TO nETBALL BY jENNY & sTEPH (en ndo'S)
This workshop will be focused on the best way to set up and deliver a back to netball session to ensure success. It will cover different approaches to build up rapport with participants, effective but fun ways to breakdown and incorporate skills and advice on how to ensure all abilities feel welcome. We will also cover when to recognise the appropriate time to move players onto the next step i.e. a harder session, into a team and then into a B2N league.
cENTRE BY gaBRIELLE toWELL
This workshop will be looking at moving through centre court. Looking at players positioning and movement to receive the pass and create space for others. Centres passes will be also be addressed.
wARM uPS BY suZY aSHWORTH
This workshop aims to provide you with fun ideas on how to make warm ups fun. Setting up warm ups that link to skills and also ensure it is fun for players
gAMES (FUN) BY sUZY aSHWORTH
This workshop will be utilising fun games to empower players and progress their skills. Setting up games to enhance their learning.
