England Netball Scouting Workshop
Course Summary:
The aim of this workshop is to provide scouts/aspiring scouts with the skills and tools to select players into the County Excel Pathway (Satellite and County Academies). Scouts must attend this workshop if they wish to become an eligible Local or County Scout. The workshop will include theory and practical observation sessions.

Scouts will leave the workshop with an understanding of:
Attendance at this workshop is via invite only, by either the Regional Excel Coach or Regional Head Scout. This workshop must also be followed by a further training and accreditation process should scouts wish to select into the Regional Excel Pathway and above.

- Processes for talent identification and selection
- How to assess the effectiveness of a talented athlete
- Effective scouting and selection skills
