CONGRATULATIONS
Pip Cross Microgaming Administrator of the Year Award
This year’s Isle of Man Sport awards evening was held on 10th April, to celebrate the Manx sporting achievements of the past year. Rubbing shoulders with sporting stars such as Mark Cavendish, this year saw Manx Netball’s Pip Cross nominated for the Microgaming Administrator of the Year Award. Pip has had a bumper year so far winning 4 awards; among them the EN Goalden Globe Official of the year award & SOUK Official of the Year Award.
She has made an outstanding contribution to Manx Netball & especially in the development of umpires over the years & in particular within 2013-2014 season. After receiving her latest award a delighted Pip stated ‘It’s nice to be recognised with a local award. I know everyone on the island does a huge amount for sport & I always love coming to these things because we have so much talent.’ Never one to take full credit Pip went on to add that ‘There’s an awful lot of people out there who do as much as I do, so thanks must go to them as well!’

North West Netball would like to congratulate Becky Kelly - Isle of Man - SureSports Young Leader award
Becky Kelly was also presented with her SureSports Young Leader award after accumulating 80 hours of volunteering hours within the community in 2013. She coached after school netball at a local primary school, coached at the Western regional Manx Youth Games Netball session & also coached Route 1 Connections Junior Club training.

ALL ENGLAND NETBALL ASSOCIATION YOUTH TRUST - FUNDRAISERS REQUIRED
The Trust was established in 1984 as a charitable trust-it is a non-profit making educational charity, registered with the Charities Commission and its aims are to support individuals and organisations in the development of
sport for young people (U21).
To date, the Trust has supported a wide range of projects, from contributions towards development/improvement of facilities, contributions for equipment for newly-established clubs, bursaries for attendees on relevant courses and contributions towards the relocation costs of England players for their education and netball training. ENGLAND NETBALL TASTER RATE
England Netball Taster Rate affiliation route for "new" and "returning" members will be made available again this year. The fees have been approved by the EN Board and will be effective from the 1st April 2014.
This is a pro rata fee, for new and returning members who have not been a member of EN within the last three years, i.e. not since 2009/10 season, and will provide affiliation from 1st April 2014 to 31st August 2014.

COACH REQUIRED
I am Head of Girls Games at Stonyhurst College and we are looking for a netball coach from Sept- They ideally would be a graduate as they must live in school and help with boarding duties.
It is a full time position within the school and the applicant must be able to coach and umpire to a high standard. Preferable an ex NTL/ Superleague player if possible.
