Academy Trials.

To help clarify which counties girls can attend Academy trials please read the statement below.

Girls attending County or Satellite Academy trials must attend the trial that their club or school is affiliated to.

Girls who are affiliated to one county by their club and another county by their school, must choose to attend which county trial they wish to attend. ie they can only attend one county trial.

Counties will send a list of girls attending trials in to the Regional Office to be checked. If girls are found to be attended two county trials, they will be disqualified from the second trials

Regional Head Scout Protocol for attending Scouting Events

Club Tournaments

1. Liaise with CHS to establish if any scouts are attending.
2. Identify myself to tournament organiser and display ID Badge.
3. If scouts are in attendance, brief them on day ahead, make sure that the CAPTIVE selection process is being used and provide them With
  guidance during the day.
4. Any athletes scouted, approach the club coach and obtain athletes name and coaches contact details. Under NO circumstances do I or any
  Scout, approach athletes themselves.
5. Inform organiser of when I have finished scouting process and remove ID.
6. Athletes name and coaches details are then sent to CHS for their information, for follow up enquiries for future screening.

Schools Tournaments

1. Liaise with CHS to establish if any scouts are attending.
2. Identify myself to Tournament organiser and display ID Badge.
3. If scouts are in attendance, brief them on day ahead, make sure that the CAPTIVE selection process is being used and provide them
  With guidance during the day.
4. Any athletes scouted, approach teacher and obtain athletes name and teachers contact details. Also establish if athlete is attached to a club.
Under NO circumstances do I or any scout approach athletes themselves.
5. If the athlete is not attached to a club, provide the teacher with the contact details of local clubs.
6. Inform organiser of when I have finished scouting process and remove ID.
7. Athletes name and teacher contact details are then sent to CHS for their Information, for follow up enquiries for future screening.
