North West Netball will choose a regional winner from each of the 8 competitive categories. The winners will be announced at the NW Goalden Globe Awards 2012 being held in summer, details to be confirmed.
Regional winners will then be put forward for the National Award which will be announced at the National Goalden Globe Awards 2012 being held on Saturday 22nd September. Click Here for the full article and nominations forms

the second year running to host pink week. Throughout pink week we want
everything and anything associated with netball to get involved to raise money
for the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer.

We are delighted to announce that Laura Fisher has been appointed as the new North West Regional Manager. Laura has a strong sports development background having held a variety of roles including Women and Girls Development Officer, Physical Activity Coordinator and Netball Development Officer. More recently Laura has been managing a reasonably large team and a variety of sporting projects at the University of Liverpool, as well as being a Netball player, coach umpire, tutor and assessor.

Umpires needed for the British College’s Sport North West Netball tournament. The tournament will be held at Whalley Range High School, Manchester on Wednesday 29th February from 9:30am to around 3pm. The tournament is for colleges affiliated to BCS and players will be aged between 16-19 years.
If you would be available to umpire for the full/half day, please could you let me know. We will pay £50 for the full day. We will only be-able to use umpires who are at least C Award qualified.

Rounders England are looking to recruit a confident and highly motivated individual to manage the implementation of our whole sport plan in the North West region. The officer will also lead our national approach to ‘School Games’, looking to develop intra and inter school competition through the network of School Games Organisers and Teacher Release posts.
