What is the CAPS?
CAPS is the acronym for The Club Action Planning Scheme. This scheme is aligned to the Sport England Clubmark accreditation scheme which is the only national cross sports quality accreditation scheme for clubs with junior sections. It is built around a set of core criteria which ensure that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards. To become a CAPS accredited Netball Club the club must be affiliated to register.
Clubs achieving this accreditation are recognised nationally as having a well run club which is ACTIVE and ACCESSIBLE. This means getting the best out of young people and giving everyone a sporting chance.
CAPS has three levels of accreditation Bronze, Silver and Gold:

There is no charge for registering for the CAPS scheme. All you need is a commitment to development and good, safe practice.

England Netball have now introduced an incentives package for those clubs that accredit at Bronze, upgrade to Silver or Gold or re-accredit with the new assessment and support pack. Clubs will receive cheques for the following amounts:
